Piano/Keyboard

For beginners, we follow the renowned John Thompson’s Piano Course, a carefully structured series that nurtures foundational skills such as note reading, finger independence, rhythm, and musical expression. These books guide students step by step through all early stages of learning, ensuring a solid and confident start.

As students progress to the intermediate level, they are introduced to carefully selected musical pieces designed to enhance hand coordination, articulation, and interpretative skills. This stage focuses on developing control, technique, and musicality—critical elements that prepare students for formal grade examinations and solo performance readiness

Acoustic/Electric Guitar

For beginners, we follow the Hal Leonard Method Books, a globally trusted series that builds a strong foundation in music reading, technique, and theory across various instruments. This structured curriculum ensures steady progress through all early stages of learning.

For intermediate students, we introduce a rich selection of musical repertoire by legendary composers such as Annamacharya (Keerthanas), A.R. Rahman, Ilayaraja, Mithoon, Pritam, and many more. In addition, students explore genres like pop, reggae, rock, and folk, helping them develop stylistic versatility.

This diverse and engaging training ultimately prepares students for grade examinations, both in Indian and Western classical streams, while nurturing creativity and confidence in performance.

Music Theory

This subject forms the core foundation for any musical genre a student wishes to pursue. Through this segment, learners gain a deeper understanding of how music is structured, composed, and interpreted in real time.

The topics covered enhance their ability to read, write, and think musically, providing essential knowledge that supports improvisation, composition, and performance across all styles.

Sight Reading

Sight-reading is an essential skill for all musicians, regardless of their chosen instrument. It acts as a powerful tool—like a performer’s sword—that prepares you for real-time music-making. Strong sight-reading ability enables you to stay in time, interpret rhythm accurately, and maintain alignment with other performers during ensemble playing. It enhances your ability to adapt quickly, follow dynamic changes, and respond musically within a group setting

Trinity Exam Board

We follow the Trinity College London syllabus to systematically prepare students for their graded music examinations, ensuring a globally recognised standard of learning and achievement.

Our Team

Meet Our Skilled & Experienced Tutors

I am Harshavardhana Rao, a musician with a strong foundation in both Indian and Western classical music traditions. My musical journey began with a diploma in Carnatic Classical music on the violin, during which I had the honour of performing before the legendary violinist Dr. L. Subramaniam, along with several other esteemed platforms across Hyderabad.

After dedicating over a decade to mastering the violin, I transitioned to Western acoustic guitar, where my prior experience with string instruments helped me progress swiftly, completing all eight grades in just a few years. My curiosity and passion for music led me to study the Piano alongside my guitar training, further broadening my understanding of harmony and technique.

While preparing for grade exams, I was naturally drawn to composition, and began writing my own music—releasing a few independent Telugu songs. However, I realized that composing alone didn’t fully satisfy my artistic drive. This insight led me to join as an Assistant Music Director for a televised program on Doordarshan (Hyderabad) in 2011, which received widespread recognition. This experience opened my eyes to the broader landscape of music production, including recording, mixing, and mastering.

Eager to expand my skill set, I began producing music independently, collaborating with composers from the Telugu film industry and creating tracks for other artists. Still, my pursuit of deeper musical fulfillment continued. In 2016, I began offering private music lessons, initially teaching a handful of students. Over time, word-of-mouth and consistent results led to rapid growth in my student base.

Driven by a desire to explore music beyond performance and composition, I pursued advanced training in studio work and sound design. This journey culminated in earning a Master of Arts in Music Production from the University of Derby, UK, in 2023.

Today, I combine my classical roots, contemporary music knowledge, and production expertise to offer a well-rounded musical experience to learners and collaborators alike
